StrimoIPTV on Firestick: Setup Guide

Set up StrimoIPTV on any Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube in ten minutes: Downloader, the right player and your Xtream login, step by step.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most common way people watch StrimoIPTV. This guide gets a line running on any Fire TV Stick (Lite, 4K, 4K Max) or Fire TV Cube in about ten minutes. You need your StrimoIPTV activation message — username, password and server URL — which arrives on WhatsApp after you choose a plan.

Before you start

  • Your Fire TV is connected to the internet and signed in to an Amazon account.
  • You have your StrimoIPTV username, password and server URL to hand.
  • For 4K channels, a Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max and at least 35 Mbps. HD is happy with 15 Mbps.

Step 1: Install the Downloader app

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, go to Find → Search.
  2. Type Downloader and select the orange Downloader app (by AFTVnews).
  3. Select Get or Download and wait for it to install. Do not open it yet.

Step 2: Allow apps from Downloader

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV.
  2. If you do not see Developer Options, open About, highlight your device name and press the select button seven times. A message confirms you are now a developer.
  3. Go back, open Developer Options → Install unknown apps, and switch Downloader to On. On older Fire OS versions this setting is called Apps from Unknown Sources.

Step 3: Install the player

  1. Open Downloader. Allow it to access files if it asks.
  2. In the address box, type the app link we send with your line and press Go.
  3. When the download finishes, select Install, then Done. Downloader offers to delete the installer file — you can, it is no longer needed.

We recommend IPTV Smarters Pro for most people and TiviMate if you want a cable-style guide grid. Both work with the same StrimoIPTV login.

Step 4: Log in with your StrimoIPTV line

  1. Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API (in TiviMate: Add playlist → Xtream Codes).
  2. Any name works in the first box — “StrimoIPTV” is fine.
  3. Enter the username, password and server URL exactly as they appear in your activation message. They are case-sensitive.
  4. Select Add user or Next. Channels, films, series and the TV guide load in 30 to 60 seconds the first time.

Make it run smoothly

  • Use the Ethernet adapter if your router is within reach. It is the single biggest fix for buffering during live sport.
  • Restart the stick once a week. Fire TV devices run low on memory over time; a restart clears it.
  • Clear the player cache from Settings → Applications → Manage installed applications if the guide stops updating.
  • Turn off data monitoring under Settings → Preferences → Data Monitoring so the stick does not lower picture quality on its own.
  • Pick the right resolution. Under Display & Sounds, let the stick match your TV’s native resolution.

Common Firestick problems

Problem Fix
“Install unknown apps” is missing Enable Developer Options first (Step 2, tap the device name seven times).
Login fails Re-type the server URL including http:// and the port number; check for a space at the end of the password.
Channels load but no TV guide Open the player settings and refresh the EPG, then wait a minute.
Buffering on one channel only Send us the channel name on WhatsApp — we can reroute it.
